What Is The Cost Of An Awning?

img-Retractable-Roof-System

You need awnings to shade larger door areas and windows. But what are prices for awnings? The response to this depends on the type of awning that you want and how much you are capable of spending.

Types of awnings

There are different types of awnings on the market as listed below:

  • Straight drop awnings

These awnings resemble the outdoor blinds. They provide shade by dropping straight down.

  • Fixed awnings

They are the most affordable in the market and are constructed from aluminium. They offer shade and shelter at the entrance and in windows. They can also have canvas cover or an aluminium frame.

  • Retractable awnings

They can cover large areas. The modern ones can be adjusted manually or motorised.

  • Freestanding awnings

These are the type of awnings that you can place anywhere that you like.

Large motorized awnings might cost more than small awnings that are operated manually. However, it will still be inexpensive if you compare the costs of patio roof installation versus the awning cost.

What is the cost of an awning?

DIY awnings found in standard sizes have low costs. You can buy widths that don’t exceed 1500mm and depths of almost one metre for less than $300 exclusive of shipping costs.

Greater depths and widths might cost more. An awning of 2950 by 1150mm might be around $675. High-quality awnings that have modern semi-transparent “sunscreen” fabric might cost more. A straight drop awning that has a manual crank mechanism can cost over $400.

A motorised awning, on the other hand, might be $400 more than a manual awning.

You should hire an electrician to wire the motor because it needs to be professionally installed.

If you would like to find out the cost of your awning, measure the depth and width the area, you plan to cover. Check the available styles with awning specialists and choose the one that you like. This way you will be able to find the retractable roof pergola prices and the prices of other awnings.

Use the Bricks + Agent paltform to get quotes from the awning suppliers near you. If you purchase your awnings from your local suppliers, they can install the awnings for you. However, if your awnings are shipped from a distance supplier, you will need to get separate quotes from local awning installers.

You might get free shipping services from some suppliers. This means that if you can’t find awnings from suppliers near you, you might inquire for quotes from suppliers in Australia.

You should use the costs in this article only as a guide. They vary depending on location and are subject to market forces.

Stepping out of the industry four years ago and moving interstate to expand a frozen yoghurt chain that has gone from 1 to 4 stores in the time he has been involved. This was recently sold to Made Group. Real estate has always been in his blood and it was a natural fit to start Bricks + Agent given the amount of insight he has into the industry as a whole. Having seen how all different forms of traditional marketing was used to the direction that it is now heading today, we think we have come up with a truly unique proposition that fits into the current state of the property maintenance market.
