March Product Update: Improved Insights, Business Rules and the Smart Dashboard

A Year in Review

A fresh start to 2020 means new goals and enhancements at Bricks + Agent. This month we are excited to announce improved insights for property managers, the introduction of ‘business rules’ to automate actions or filter jobs and a Smart Dashboard that let’s you control the information that actually requires your attention to proceed with jobs.

Introducing Business Rules

The Business Rules feature is all about making our life easier! The bigger your operations get the more tasks you've got to tackle. That's why we are introducing a new feature as "Business Rules" to automate actions or filter the jobs that absolutely require your actions. To define them you can now create your own custom rules, to each phase of the job.

The Smart Dashboard

The Smart Dashboard has been introduced to help teams to improve efficiency. Once you have defined the Business Rules in settings, all the jobs that require reminders will be populated to the Smart Dashboard. The Smart Dashboard filters jobs that require your attention to proceed. What’s bets here, is that you’re in total control of what is displayed. The below image is the default view of the Dashboard.

You can switch between the list view and the grid view by selecting the options under 'view'.

Once you set the business rules, all the jobs that match the respective criteria will be listed here. The following table shows the types of jobs that can be called on to the Smart Dashboard through creating business rules.

Rafael Niesten

Written by Rafael Niesten

In his early 20s, Perth local Rafael Niesten, won a scholarship to study in Canada, with that came the opportunity to volunteer at a local radio station. That spawned his entrepreneurial streak, returning to Perth in 2001 he set up community radio Groove FM. More by luck than design, they became successful, too successful as they took a significant chunk of the Perth Market. This sent up the red flag with his commercial competitors who saw to it that he came before the Australian Broadcasting Authority and on technicalities such as the number of volunteers he was forced to move on. He received the citizen of the year award for Western Australia (youth) and was a finalist in the Australian of the year awards (Youth). Falling on his sword he turned to running small and large scale events, all the while buying, renovating and selling properties. Buying and selling land and renovated houses provided a grounding in the property industry. He founded a cloud based medical grade voice recognition company, followed by co founding the first true cloud application for private practice in the health sector. He successfully exited these ventures at the end of 2016 and began building Bricks+Agent.
