agreement-3489902_1920

Does your job revolve around customer satisfaction? Working in customer-centric industries like real estate, you will come across a lot of people and making a connection with the customer is vital to the longevity of your business.

Establishing healthy customer connections is a fool proof formula for generating repeat business. Customers will come to you not just because they love your products and services, but because you offered them a smooth and convenient experience.

The experts at Bricks + Agent have compiled a list of tips and tricks for improving customer connections.

Your customer is a person first and client later

Customers are likely to give you repeat business when you provide them with convenient and exceptional experiences. Your work will flourish, but only if it’s up to customer expectations.

Being the face of your business, it's your responsibility to create a connection with them. Welcome new customers to your space and greet them as you might expect yourself to be greeted if you visit a similar business. Try to make an emotional connection by making them feel comfortable at your site.

Look for signs that they are engaged in your words, its a good indication you are on track to connecting with them.

Pay attention to your customer requirements

Help your customers and make them a priority. Listen carefully to what your customer needs and respond to them in a timely manner. Your assistance should make them feel that they are in the right place.

Probe them in a friendly and polite manner to understand their requirements. Once you get an exact idea about their necessities you will be able to serve them better.

Be genuine about your business

Emotional connection is important but authentic relationships are also essential. Stay genuine with your marketing strategies as these are the foundation of making long-term customers.

Don’t bombard and frustrate them with meaningless marketing and sales techniques. Honest marketing is effective in creating a reliable relationship with your target market when you stay authentic with your business ideas and principles. Your clients are smart enough to understand when your business is genuine or you are just trying to make money.

An authentic relationship automatically makes a strong rapport in your profession.

Be proficient with your product knowledge

Never reply with negative responses to customer queries. Always stay positive with them to improve business interactions. You should be an expert in the products that you are offering to your clients. Invite your customers by giving them the advantages of special promotions. Use loyalty programs that help customers earn a certain number of points for using your services which would be rewarded to them during their next visit.

After all, we are humans and full of emotions. To win a client’s heart, you need to build an emotional connection with them. Make valuable connections by using these ideas to grow your customer base make your business flourish.

Rafael Niesten

Written by Rafael Niesten

In his early 20s, Perth local Rafael Niesten, won a scholarship to study in Canada, with that came the opportunity to volunteer at a local radio station. That spawned his entrepreneurial streak, returning to Perth in 2001 he set up community radio Groove FM. More by luck than design, they became successful, too successful as they took a significant chunk of the Perth Market. This sent up the red flag with his commercial competitors who saw to it that he came before the Australian Broadcasting Authority and on technicalities such as the number of volunteers he was forced to move on. He received the citizen of the year award for Western Australia (youth) and was a finalist in the Australian of the year awards (Youth). Falling on his sword he turned to running small and large scale events, all the while buying, renovating and selling properties. Buying and selling land and renovated houses provided a grounding in the property industry. He founded a cloud based medical grade voice recognition company, followed by co founding the first true cloud application for private practice in the health sector. He successfully exited these ventures at the end of 2016 and began building Bricks+Agent.
